A metal finish is built in stages. Follow the process from mold making and die casting to surface preparation, color filling and packing.

Mold making & engraving

The mold is machined to form the dice shape, numbers and decorative details. Tooling comes before die casting and provides the starting point for the production process.

Die casting

Molten zinc alloy is formed in a mold to create the dice body and its raised or recessed details. The design and tooling determine the starting shape.

Casting flash, gate marks and rough areas are removed. Edges and transitions are refined to prepare the cast part for the next finishing stage.

The surface is smoothed before finishing. Polishing helps create an even appearance while keeping the intended numbers, symbols and decorative details clear.
